Atop the ‘dying city’, an afternoon storm swept in and diluted our last espresso. I was thinking about erosion eating away at the ancient city walls, wishing I’d brought an extra layer, wishing the shadowy figure wasn’t blocking my melancholy view. I glanced down at the table, blinded by the glare, realizing that - actually, it was a perfect moment.
The entire unit (artwork + mat + foamboard) is 11 × 14 × 0.25 inches
